Kuding leaves are long and narrow. They are dried and twisted together to form long stick-like or needle shapes that are a deep brown to black in colour.
Also known as Broadleaf Holly tea, from the words Ku – meaning bitter and Ding – meaning spike, be prepared for a strong earthy, very bitter taste! The liquor is a lovely yellow hue with a powerful medicinal aroma. Steep with only a few leaves to begin until you get familiar with the taste.
